The days are stretching a little longer, the sun is lingering in the kitchen windows, and spring is knocking softly at the door. Around here, that means fresh berries, bubbling fruit in the oven, and a crisp topping that smells like comfort. This Strawberry Crisp is farmhouse simple (the kind of recipe you make while supper is still on the stove), and serve warm with whatever cream you have on hand.
